Job Summary:
As the Marketing Insights Analyst you will leverage data-driven insights to drive strategic marketing initiatives for NEX businesses. You will analyze customer behavior develop customer segmentation optimize promotional strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives. By harnessing the power of analytics you will track marketing results and KPIs and inform decision-making processes to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilizes advanced analytics to develop comprehensive customer data models and derive actionable insights to inform merchandising marketing and other departments.
- Translates data findings into strategic recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Designs and executes a diverse range of market research projects to uncover consumer trends preferences and behaviors.
- Presents findings and identifies opportunities for revenue growth to management. -
- Analyzes demographic data from various sources including DEERs to monitor trends in the local patron base.
- Assists in identifying additional demographic and behavioral data elements to incorporate into CRM to provide greater customer understanding and to tailor marketing strategies for maximum impact.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders including marketing and merchandising business intelligence data sharing partners and command community partners to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
- Utilizes comparison shopper data customer demographics and trend analysis to benchmark NEX businesses against competitors and influence market positioning within the retail industry.
- Supervises Market Research Specialist and provides guidance and support to foster a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence.
- Ensures the accuracy and reliability of marketing insight results by implementing rigorous quality assurance processes.
- Monitors key performance indicators KPIs to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and drive optimization efforts.
- Proactively identifies and addresses data anomalies and engages with key stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
- Acts as a trusted advisor providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Partners with Merchandising Support Business Intelligence team to develop and implement analytical strategies that drive business growth.
- Leverages technology and advanced analytics tools to enhance data capabilities and drive actionable insights. Performs related duties as assigned.
- The incumbent of this position must file a Financial Disclosure Report OGE Form 450 as required
Requires a total of 6 years of combined experience
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Three years of experience that was gained in administrative marketing support and or retail sales or other related responsible work that enabled the applicant to gain a knowledge of market research skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships and the ability to exercise mature judgement. OR
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE:
One year of education above the high school level may be substituted for nine months of experience up to a maximum of a four-year degree in business marketing statistics or social sciences for three years of general experience. BS degree in Statistics Marketing or related field preferred.
AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Three years of progressive experience that provided a background in retail research analysis that demonstrates the knowledge skill and abilities needed to perform the work requirements of the position including proven retail business research analysis and reporting through multiple methods of collection interpretation of large amounts of data various statistical and trend data databases and MS Office search engines web analytics and business research tools acumen including CRM programs working knowledge of data warehousing modeling and mining and robust communication and presentation skills.
